Terms and Conditions for Air Source Heat Pump Servicing

Introduction

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of air source heat pump servicing ("Service") by New Air Repair ltd. ("we," "us," "our"). By scheduling or receiving the Service, you ("Customer," "you," "your") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Scope of Service

1.1 Description of Service

The Service includes inspection, maintenance, and repair of air source heat pumps as described in the service agreement or contract. Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Inspecting the heat pump system for proper operation.
  • Cleaning or replacing filters.
  • Inspecting electrical components and connections.
  • Testing system performance.
  • Altering system setting and operations to maximise effectiveness or effeciency based on the customer needs. 

1.2 Service Limitations

The Service does not include:

  • Major repairs or replacements not specified in the service agreement.
  • Upgrades or modifications to the system.
  • Services required due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized alterations by the Customer or third parties.

2. Scheduling and Access

2.1 Appointment Scheduling

Appointments for the Service must be scheduled in advance. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time, but we cannot guarantee availability.

2.2 Access to Premises

You must provide our technicians with safe and reasonable access to the premises where the heat pump is located. If access is not provided at the scheduled time, additional charges may apply.

3. Customer Obligations

3.1 Accurate Information

You must provide accurate and complete information about the heat pump system, including its location, make, model, and any known issues.

3.2 System Maintenance

You are responsible for regular maintenance and care of the heat pump system as recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to do so may void warranties or service guarantees.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Service Fees

Service fees are as outlined in the service agreement or contract. All fees are due and payable upon booking of the Service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for services outside the scope of the standard Service or for parts and materials not covered by the service fee. These charges will be communicated and must be approved by you before the additional work is performed.

4.3 Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest at the rate of [interest rate]% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.

5. Warranties and Liability

5.1 Limited Warranty

6. Termination

6.1 Termination by Customer

You may terminate the service agreement or contract at any time by providing 10 days written notice. Any prepaid fees for services not yet rendered will not be refunded.

6.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate the service agreement or contract with immediate effect if you breach these Terms or fail to make timely payments.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [state/country].

7.2 Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you and will become effective upon your acceptance or continued use of the Service.
